Volunteering at Promise Kept
Volunteering is a great way to make a difference in the lives of others and at Promise Kept volunteers are always needed! It is rewarding, great exercise, and looks good on a resume! Training is provided and we welcome those aged 13 and up to do a variety of rewarding tasks (see below) at the farm. Come by yourself or bring a group.
Some of the volunteer duties:
HOW DO YOU GET STARTED? Come out and watch a session, help groom, or learn to walk a horse – as you feel more comfortable- we will fit you into the routine of volunteering. WHAT DO I WEAR: Sturdy shoes that you're willing to get dirty and that cover your toes. Bring a water and gloves if you have them. WHAT DO I BRING: Print off the liability release form (click here to open), sign it and bring it along. If you have a home school group, youth group, Girl Scout or Boy Scout Troop that you would like to come out to help - we will schedule a special 2 hour day. |
“The gift of giving can truly make a difference.” “Your farm also has a very peaceful spirit about it!” |
