Promise Kept is an equine assisted riding program that operates at Pine Lake Pastures. This spring Xcel Energy has generously choosen Promise Kept to recieve a $5000 grant to help towards the care of the therapy horses!

We are so grateful for this thoughtful contribution to our program. Many of our therapy horses are geriatric, needing special care for feed and supplements. Their age and calm demeanor makes them a perfect fit for working with special individuals diagnosed as differently-abled.

Thank you again Xcel Energy for all you do for our communities and enhancing the world around us.

Our first event is:

August 21st 4-8pm
Brats and Picnic from grill 5-7pm
Pony Rides, campfire, farm fun, picnic

NO COST to Veterans and families!

Chris Brama, an Army National Guard Solider returned from deployment with no Home Base. We want to reach out to other veterans and their families to help establish a sense of community.

Our eventual goal is to provide more support for those coming home from deployment, those that have been home for a while, those needing a family outing, and those suffering from PTSD.

We are always looking for volunteers- PLEASE contact us if you are interested in walking a horse, helping to groom, help around the farm- etc. WE NEED YOU. ;)

Families coming for therapy- Sessions are from 12:00-12:45 and 1:00- 1:45. Many of the students will need to work up to the full 45 minute session since it's been a couple months since they have ridden.

Our services are offered for at no charge, however our services are not inexpensive. We recommend a suggested donation of $35/session. However, we gladly accept any donations. THANK YOU for your SUPPORT OF PROMISE KEPT THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER!

We raised over $2000.00 for Promise Kept Therapeutic Riding Center! THANK YOU! We had about 100 people attend the dance. You could see by the smiles and laughter that all had a wonderful time. I appreciate every business that donated, all volunteers and family that helped prior to and at the event! This is a fun family event with a spaghetti dinner, DJ, dancing and silent auction.

HOW CAN I HELP? Attend the event, be a volunteer to solicit silent auction items, or make a basket of goodies to donate for the silent Auction.
